Personalized marketing campaign for Chinese and Korean audiences
Boston-based agency Small Army approached btrax to localize the powerful video tutorial campaign site they had created for SolidWorks - the leading 3D CAD software used by over 1.3 million engineers and designers.
At the heart of the site was a feature that personalized an animated video by inserting the visitors name. Beyond requiring expertise in Korean and Chinese languages, Small Army also needed to solve a tough technical challenge of displaying load-heavy Asian fonts dynamically and cleanly.
Our creative team rapidly localized the web pages while our programmers worked in parallel to code an elegant and cutting-edge solution that allowed fonts to be pulled from the server in real-time.
As icing on the cake, we added social media sharing capabilities and tested in non-Western browsers popular in the target markets.
