TripAdvisor came to btrax shortly after launching in Japan for support in refining the site's user experience and traffic performance. Having created and continuing to maintain Expedia's Japan site, our team had the right mix of Japanese staff and travel industry experience.
btrax's design team developed a new user interface and flagship Flash-based map that increased conversion for the high volume site by more than 5% - a significant amount in the B2C arena. Ongoing support work on marketing ads, promo pages and white paper localization further supported TripAdvisor's increase in Japan market share.
